Dwelling values in Perth climbed another 2% in June according to CoreLogic, resulting in a 23.6% increase in values over the year and cementing Perth as the best performing capital city by far.
Drilling down even further, REIWA crunched the numbers and gave us a list of the top performing suburbs in Perth over the year. Understanding why these suburbs performed so well can help identify future potential.
It’s worth noting that Armadale featured in the top ten list for both price growth and affordability according to REIWA. The lesson? Affordability is a huge driver of a price growth.
A number of other top performing suburbs benefited from what we call the ripple effect. Their proximity to more expensive suburbs has raised demand and boosted price growth.
